Dear
Fellow Roadie,
My name is Bart
Summers and in the next few minutes, I'd like to
show you exactly how you can start winning
bike races the easy way regardless of experience,
past thinking or even body shape.
|
Let me ask you this:
How
would you like to be able to choose your result in a
bike race?
How
good would you feel if you knew, with confidence that
you were going to be top 10 today, top 3 or even know
with certainty that you were going to win! Sounds too
incredible to believe?
Nothing
could be further from the truth…
Unfortunately,
if you’re anything like I was when I started bike racing
your first goal might be just to finish
-
that was pretty much how I was when I started. In fact, for
my first three months in the sport I only finished four
races! How demoralizing can you get? You can imagine
how I felt.
So
much for my dreams of crossing the finishing line with a
victory salute, I couldn’t even stay with the pack most of
the time, let alone be in any kind of contention at the
finish.
What
about YOU?
-
Do
you dread it in races every time the road goes upwards?
-
Ever
felt yourself getting weaker towards the end of long
road races ending up with no placing?
-
Do
you sometimes sit and watch the winning break disappear
off the front of the race powerless to do anything about
it?
-
Have
you ever felt that no matter how hard you train
you just don’t seem to be able to get the results you
want? Certainly not the big victories you were
expecting anyway...
Well that’s exactly how I used to feel during my first
few months in the sport.
But
here’s the really interesting thing. All
the results you want, the big wins, getting in the right
moves, everything in fact that you want from Bike Racing all
of it is within your grasp- you just need to know how
to reach out and take it for yourself.
Fact
is, you can win bike races the easy way- you just
have to learn some simple techniques before you
can do it!
In
the next few minutes, You'll
discover not only how to train and race properly but how
to practically guarantee that you win.
You'll
learn the very same strategies that took me from race
newbie to State Champion in only my second year of
racing.
And
then, about an hour from now, you'll start out on a new
road to success in cycling- one where you'll personally
decide your result- even before turning a pedal!
Imagine
being able to switch on super form anytime you needed it
during your season. What
would that do to your race results and standings for the
year?
|

David
won his first race this year and moved up a
category!
"Bart,
Just
a quick note to tell you about my season so
far this year. This is my second season on
the bike but the first year that I really
concentrated on interval training. I cannot
tell you how much this effected my racing!
Every race I've done I've felt much stronger
and able to stay with the leaders all
through the race- even on the climbs.
Climbing
was my weakness last year so I concentrated
on the climbing session in your program to
improve my climbing. I won my first race
this year because it had a hill finish and
have moved up to Cat 3. Thanks again
Bart"

Top Bike Racing Tips gets another racer
back in the pack
"Bart,
Your
book summarizes many of the racing
lessons I learned as a junior in the
late 70s and 80s. Now as a returning
masters racer it is great to have a pre
season/ pre race checklist. The biggest
revelation for me is the "top
racers train alone" part, along
with the re-emphasis on recovery.
I
like so many athletes have suffered from
chronic over-training and sluggish
progress due to "O.H." (Over
Hammering) Perhaps the hardest lesson
for any of us.
Great
book,"

Here's
the bottom line on this powerful resource...
I
don't know you personally, and I don't know what winning a bike race is worth to
you but I do know this:
Bike
racers from all levels spend a fortune trying to
win bike races. I certainly did when I got
started. Look around any race HQ and you'll
see thousands of dollars spent on the
latest bikes and all the kit that goes with them.
Yet
the simple fact is, what you really need to win
bike races is know-how and not the very
latest or most expensive gear.
If
you respond right away, you can have all the
proven race winning secrets in this book
for less than the cost of a decent racing tire.
And
you won't have to wait for it either.

| "Your
books are excellent in their organization and
presentation. I like the way you get to the point.
I am not your usual targeted
audience. I am in my late 50's, recovering from knee
surgery, and looking to ride for my health. I
purchased your book to learn techniques to improve
my riding although racing will not be part of my
future. From what I have read, even we non-racers
can benefit from the techniques you describe in
terms of improving our health and making riding more
fun.
Your book on using a trainer
definitely filled a void."

Hey
Bart,
“…I
only wish that I had been further through your books
before these races had wrapped up! The
chapters of the books are very clear, right on the point
at all times and kept me writing
"notes-to-remember" as I read.
The
early chapters were almost prophetic in reading my
thought processes of "why" I am racing
("just to exercise", "just to finish
without embarrassing myself", "just to stay
out of all of the ditches", "just to place
reasonably well in my age category", etc.
Your
road "planning" encouragements have made me
look forward to my "next season" with
anticipation, rather than with a sense of dread. I have
always had questions about "how to" build
stamina, speed and riding skills...once again your books
came through with just what I needed to hear about.
I
believe that your second book will become more important
as the "clocks change falling backwards" next
weekend and my ability to go for evening rides (in
safety) diminishes. I will do my best not let the winter
months simply slip away.
Thanks
for making these available! I will continue to read, and
re-read, them as I prepare for the year(s) ahead
Take
care and thanks again!”

Hello Bart
I have just finished your book “50 Top Bike Racing Tips” and found it an excellent read.
I found all areas of interest but particularly the discipline of working to 6 zones when training. I have previously worked to 4 zones with too much time spent in what you describe as a limited effect zone(your zone 4). This would explain why I felt tied whilst base training and I have now changed my base training to working at your zone 3.
I do not do very much training indoors but I did find you bonus book interesting and will if the weathers bad try a few of the lactate training programs.
Having won my first event this year my key objectives next year are to consistently achieve high placings in races and also beat my PBs at 10(24:11)and25(1hr5min)time trials.
I thoroughly enjoyed your books and hope to reap the benefits in 2008.
Regards
Eddy Moran

Bart,
Your list has truly helped me already. Completed my second crit last
weekend and didn't finish last! OK, I'm shooting pretty low here, but I
didn't get lapped either. My goal at age 51 is to podium before I'm 52. My
endurance increases weekly and so has my top end speed. Heart rate is down
and I'm down to 160 pounds. I'm convinced this will happen.
You've really simplified many of the concepts I'd already discovered about
training. I'm convinced the mental aspect is a huge part of being
successful.
